Following her passion, Floriane Andersen has honed her skills since the age of five. She trained at the National Conservatory of Dramatic Art in Annecy, and graduated from the Cours Florent in Paris and EMCAM in Marseille. Her credits span across stage and screen, in both French and English roles.
On the small screen, Floriane played the recurring role of Chloé in the hit Series "Elite Squad" (TF1), as well as the lead role of Natalie in "Vengeance" (France 2) and guest starring in "Manipulations amoureuses" (TF1). She also appeared in the latest Jacob Berger’s TV film “Dévoilées”.
Highlights of her film credits include the role of Natalie in “Shiddat” directed by Kunal Deshmukh, the King's Court Lady in "The King’s Daughter", directed by Sean McNamara, staring Pierce Brosnan and the Executive Secretary in "Love Punch" directed by Joel Hopkins, staring Emma Thompson. She also worked on award winning short film "Santé" (France 2), as well as, most recently, portrayed the Role of a nurse during Second World War in the film “Edelweiss”.
On stage, Floriane played as Miss Dee in “Radiant Vermin” by Philip Ridley directed by David Mercatali (Leister square Theatre). She could also be seen as Katherine, in the highly acclaimed Antic Disposition production of "Henry V", which toured all over England and France, and in the role of Hero in Much Ado About Nothing by the same company. She also played the role of Ingrid in the adaptation of "American Psycho" (Vingtième Theatre in Paris), and appeared in "La Traviata" directed by Benoît Jacquot.
Floriane is also the lead singer/songwriter for Onyx & The Red Lips (Sphere LGSR), who released their first album in 2019.
Floriane was born in Marseille (France) and grew up in St Cyr s/mer. Her father Loys Turcat was an historian and her mother Caroline Ehrhart is a teacher. She has a Half-sister Claire Stellio. Floriane’s father introduced her to cinema. She began acting her Dad’s short-films. At the age of five, she starts ballet and piano. She sings in her mom’s choir at church. She also developed a passion for gymnastics and compete at a national level. At the age of twelve she started practicing in an improv theatre company. She studies Cinema and theater in high school. At the age of fifteen, she entered the Conservatoire d’Art dramatique d’Annecy. She will then study directing in a cinema school in Marseille (EMCAM) and develop a passion for video editing. She decides to move to Paris and is accepted in the famous drama school “Cours Florent” where she graduates in 2010. She will study Musical theatre and dramatic arts.
She first signs with her agent in 2011 and begin a career in TV with the recurring role of Chloé in the hit series “Elite Squad” Season 2. She then will play the lead role of Natalie in “Vengeance", (France 2), and guest starring in "Manipulations amoureuses" (TF1). She also appears in the Jacob Berger’s TV film “Dévoilées and in "La Traviata" directed by Benoît Jacquot. Floriane treaded the London boards in 2015, when she got cast to play the role of Princess Katheryn in “Henry V” from Shakespeare. The play and her performance will be critically acclaimed and she will be touring for more than 2 years. She is then hired again to play the role of Hero in ‘Much Ado About Nothing’ by the same company the next year. She will then transition to contemporary theatre as Miss Dee in “Radiant Vermin” by Philip Ridley directed by David Mercatali (Leister square Theatre). The play will be transferred in France at “Le Chêne noir” at the Avignon festival, then will have a successful run in Paris at “Théâtre Montparnasse” before touring all over France.
After a few appearances in "The King’s Daughter", directed by Sean McNamara, staring Pierce Brosnan and “The Love Punch" directed by Joel Hopkins, staring Emma Thompson, Floriane’s first step into cinema will occur when she is chosen to portray the role of Natalie, an French immigration officer in the feature film “Shiddat” directed by Kunal Deshmukh.
Floriane now lives in Hollywood and pursue her career in TV and cinema.
Floriane sings, plays keyboard and the flute. She is the lead singer/songwriter for Onyx & The RedLips (Sphere LGSR), who released their first album in 2019.
